Olmsted Point along Tioga Pass in Yosemite National Park is a convenient location for tourists and photographers alike to get a sweeping view looking west towards Half Dome. Here, a winter storm passes over the granite slabs near sunset.
On a crisp, clear evening along the Merced River, I stopped to photograph the setting sun as its last warmth illuminated the granite rock face of El Capitan in Yosemite Valley National Park. Mist from a nearby field flowed across the river during this transitional time.
On a moon lit night, I photographed Yosemite Falls as storm clouds streaked by. The starry sky can be seen through the moving clouds as the entire landscape is reflected in a flooded meadow in Yosemite Vally.
