A February storm brought interesting clouds and light for several hours along the San Mateo coast near Pigeon Point lighthouse. I used a special polarizer to accentuate the golden colors of the iceplant and the blue light in the sky.
For this image, I used my 500mm prime lens from the bluffs along the coast south of the Pigeon Point lighthouse. As the sun got closer to the tower, I used a fast shutter speed to create a well formed sun.
