Watching the Time
Storm clouds dissipate and a long exposure blurs their motion and smooths the Pacific ocean. A lone person stands nearly motionless during the one minute exposure time. The contrast of black and white help accentuate the contrasts in this coastal image.

Due to the state of disrepair, the Pigeon Point lighthouse has a chain link fence around it to ensure visitors do't get too close. I placed my camera through a gap in the fence and used a wide angle lens to get this vantage point. I used a long exposure to capture the moving storm clouds.

A February storm brought interesting clouds and light for several hours along the San Mateo coast near Pigeon Point lighthouse. I used a special polarizer to accentuate the golden colors of the iceplant and the blue light in the sky.
